Adhering to CHED Memorandum No. 33 (Series of 2017), The Bachelor in Human Services (BhumServ) program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to impact individuals, families, and communities positively. This interdisciplinary program integrates theories and practices from social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, and other related fields to prepare students for human service careers.
DORMITORY
The Dance Program develops holistic dance artists in the Philippines skilled to become dancers, choreographers, teachers, managers, writers, and researchers upon graduation. Courses offered are those required in the CHED curriculum such as dance technique, composition, theory and criticism, history, management, and music. The curriculum is reinforced through co-curricular activities that train students to take up various roles to experience dance and cultural production as a whole, and is strengthened by its partnership with the Alice Reyes Dance Philippines that provides students with professional ballet technique, and professional experience.
SOCIALS
The Theatre Program is designed to nurture 21st century scholars and culture-bearers who grasp the multidisciplinary nature of theatre as well as its historical legacies and contemporary challenges. The Theatre Program is taught by both young and experienced Filipino Contemporary artists and scholars for theatre, film, and television. It includes courses on Acting Technique, Asian Theatre, Directing, Playwriting, Dramaturgy, Stagecraft, Technical Theatre, Theatre Studies, and other cognate courses that cultivate the students to become innovative and transformational artists responsive to economical, technological, and societal shifts.
