As the team looks ahead to future competitions, Team Captain Kurt Abram Lactaotao shared his reflections on the experience:
“It was a great experience playing in Bicol, being chosen to represent not only Guang Ming College but also the UCCL.
The opportunity further helped us build our confidence and develop grit on the court. Right before the championship game, Coach Paul reminded us how far we have come – that every sacrifice, every training session and every challenge of balancing academics and basketball has finally paid off.
We may have fallen short in the end, but we gained valuable experience and momentum that will help us grow, moving forward together.”
