Silang, Cavite — Pursuant to Presidential Decree 491 or the Philippine Nutrition Act of 1974 declaring the month of July as Nutrition Month with the objective of public awareness and the essential role of nutrition to nation building and growth.

As part of the celebration, students, faculty, staff, and parents joined together as the Lumbini Institute of Cavite community for NUTRIKALIKASAN: Nurturing Healthy Minds, Healthy Planet last August 3 and 4. With this year’s theme “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan Ating Pangalagaan” (Taking Care of our Nutrition and the Environment), members of the LIC community took part in different activities including Team Presentations, Group Cheering, Puzzle Quest Challenge, Eco-Olympics, and capped off by showcasing selected student representatives for the Mr. and Ms. NutriKalikasan 2026.
